The BND promotes and participates in the international dissemination of the digital contents of Portuguese libraries, through the RNOD - National Registry of Digital Objects, which aggregates metadata from more than 40 institutions and disseminates them to international portals such as Europeana, the Digital Library of American Iberian Heritage, the Luso-Brasileira Digital Library, or the World Digital Library.
